Water condition
A portable Spa rented out with a Gite/chalet, must have a complete water change
and clean of Spa and filter before each new stay client/family.

This applies to all Gite and Chalet owners.
i.e. If the family stays for one week, the Spa must be emptied, cleaned, refilled and
reheated before the new clients arrive to use the portable Spa.

However, a small pump and sand filtration unit can be added as a free standing unit
beside the portable Spa.  This will enable the Spa to function with both the inbuilt
cartridge filtration and to use the sand filtration at the same time.
This negates the need to empty the Spa between clients as the Spa will function in
a similar way to a swimming pool.

The pump and sand filtration can be added retrospectively - so if you are finding
the water change is too much work and money, please bear this option in mind.

The pump power to the jets remains unaffected as the sand filtration relies totally
on the small pump we provide with the sand filtration.

We are only able to supply this for Sunbelt portable Spas.

We recommend Glass Media rather than sand to give a far better filtration, even
down to blood and dead skin cells.  For more information on Glass Media, see our
sister site
Glass Media .

Water clarity and cleanliness of the portable Spa must still be maintained by
addition of chemicals, such as AquaFinesse, on a weekly basis.  Or the water can
be maintained chemical free with
ECOsmarte.

Planning permission
Gite/Chalets and family Spas do not need planning permission for a portable Spa
unless it is being partially submerged into a decking area - it would then be best to
check with your Marie as some areas are stricter than others.
