Where to position your portable Spa
Before you lay your Spa base, be sure you have chosen the correct position.
If unsure as to indoors or outdoors - outdoors is best, as it gives a further extension
of your living area into the outdoors where you can be comfortable all year round.
- If you install your Spa indoors you will need to consider both drainage and
condensation aspects.
Outdoors - Do not position the Spa too far from the house, or you may not want to
use it in the winter months. If if is within a few meters of the house, you will not have
cooled off from the warm water before you re enter your home during the colder
weather.
Make sure the electricity supply is 2 meters away - this avoids any accidents with
splashing. An outside plug socket for connection is recommended.
Remember also that you will need to empty your Spa periodically depending on
your choice of water sanitation.
Do not install beneath electric cables or under unguttered roof or over any
water/drain pipe access points.
Imagine the view from the Spa, from all seat positions - are you overlooked?
Perhaps a gazebo is required.
Ideally, place your portable Spa close to the house, enabling you to have beautiful
views or in a secluded position enabling your own private outdoor haven.
Imagine lying back at night with a glass of good French wine, some good company
and the stars above, enjoying your hydro massage. CD/ radio can be incorporated
into your portable Spa if you require.
You can even partially sink your Spa with decking up around it , however, this will
require planning permission.
